ILITE Robotics Expo

Come join ILITE on Saturday, the 7th of February to watch Slingshot, a 93 min. documentary about Dean Kamen, the inventor of the Segway and founder of FIRST, a program for students to get people interested in science, technology and engineering – and a core program to ILITE’s existence and success. The documentary focuses the widespread impact of his work and 15-year quest to solve the world’s safe water crisis. There will also be a wide variety of family-friendly STEM activities, concessions and informational booths for ILITE summer camps, E-Watt lightbulbs, and Battlefield High School’s IT program as well as local businesses and organizations. The expo will be held in the Battlefield High School commons from 1:45-2:50 PM and the movie will be in the auditorium at 3:00 PM. Admission is $8 for students and $10 for adults.
