Team 1885 ILITE Robotics from Battlefield High School participated in the US FIRST Greater DC Regional FRC Competition. More than 40 teams participated in the event. Team 1885, sponsored in part by the US STEM Foundation, finished in the third place alliance in the competition semi-finals. Most importantly, ILITE Robotics won the prestigious Chairman's Award! The Chairman's Award honors the team that best represents a model for other teams to emulate and best embodies the purpose and goals of FIRST.
